The survey is conducted entirely online at isasweb.com/[school]. For example, the survey link for Sample School would be isasweb.com/sample, which presents a login page featuring your school logo. After submitting your order (and sending your school logo, if necessary), you will be notified when your survey is ready for review. After the login page, the respondent will be asked to complete five pages; data is saved as each page is submitted, so partial responses will be used for respondents who do not submit the final page.
The questionnaire will ask respondents for the following:
- A list of all independent schools applied to and whether the student was admitted to each; which one the student will attend (or if student will not attend an independent school).
- Importance of 20 school characteristics to the respondent, and how they rate your school on each characteristic.
- Which of 25 images the respondent associates with your school.
- Respondent's rating of 15 information sources from your school.
- Comparative responses for characteristics, images, and information sources of one competitor school.
- The role of cost and financial aid (parents only), including comparative data for the selected competitor school.
- Demographic information, including: how the respondent learned of your school; what type of school the student previously attended; whether a relative currently attends or has previously attended your school.
- Response to up to three custom questions, designed by you.
- Open-ended comments: what was the most important factor in the family's enrollment decision, and space for general comments.
Links to parent and student sample questionnaires are provided below. The information needed to access each survey will be prefilled, and you only need to click ‘Continue’ to access the survey. Also note that on the first page of the survey, you must complete the list of schools applied to in order to proceed to the rest of the survey.
